Renuka and Craig had a gorgeous seaside wedding ceremony and reception in Carmel at the Highlands Inn. I’m glad I had the chance to shoot this wedding with the talented Andrew Lin.
Enjoy!

Jenny + Eric’s wedding took place at Casa Real in Pleasanton. I had the privilege of working with Manus Chau again. The wedding was very intimate and beautiful. Jenny + Eric threw a great celebration!
[below] | Jo of Jo Chow Makeup did Jenny’s makeup. She did such a great job!

[below] | Jenny received a special note from Eric the morning of the wedding. How sweet. You can tell she was totally excited to marry Eric!!!

[below] | She was so excited that she decided to write back.

[below] | Manolo Blahnik’s? Check!

[below] | The ladies spent some time praying before the ceremony.

[below] | So cute!

Mike and Lee got married at the Elliston Vineyards in Sunol. This time I had the chance to shoot with Ingrid Joy. I had a great time working with her. Here are the images!
[below] | Lee had a some beautiful and unique accessories. I was in love with her earrings and her necklace!

[below] | Lee wore a gorgeous bebe gown. It was very soft and flowy. Very her.

[below] | Mike + Lee opted to see each other before the ceremony. We were able to sneak in a few photos of the giddy couple before they made the trip down the aisle.

[below] | Some last minute touches!!!

[below] | In addition to traditional ceremony elements, Mike + Lee also took communion. I thought that was a very nice touch.

[below] | Clean and simple centerpieces for each table.

[below] | During the reception, Mike + Lee sang “The Way I Am” by Ingrid Michaelson for their guests – they have beautiful voices. They had written their own lyrics, but kept the part about the Rogaine in for Mike. There were laughs and chuckles all around.

This summer, I photographed one of my first weddings! It was such an amazing experience. Many thanks to Manus Chau for giving me the opportunity to second-shoot and, of course, to James for encouraging me to go for it!
Amber + Amel are such a sweet couple and it was an honor to be a part of their big day.
[below] | I got to the church early to take some shots of the guys. I spy Nate Jeung, who I found out is Amber’s brother!!! WHAT A SMALL WORLD!

[below] | Amber and her dad were so cute. Here they are right before he was about to walk her down the aisle.

[below] | The inside of St. Cecilia Church in San Francisco.

[below] | After the ceremony, Amber + Amel got the chance to spend some time alone taking some portraits at Alamo Square Park (the park where the Tanner family from Full House hung out!).

[below] | A close-up of the cake topper that Amber made. 10 points for making it herself. Another 10 points for it being made out of Lego!!! The inspiration behind their cake topper: Immediately after their honeymoon, Amber + Amel were moving up to Alaska, where Amel would be stationed for the next couple of years.

[below] | Amber was cracking up during her maid of honor’s toast. They have some pretty incredible and hilarious stories together.

[below] | They took cake feeding to a whole new level. Whipped cream EVERYWHERE.

[below] | This little guy was the star of the dance floor. With that face, how could he not be?!?!?!

[below] | Amber + Amel, I wish you two the best as you begin your journey together in Alaska!
